CROFTON Celebrates the Holidays at Nauticus

This year, the CROFTON team celebrated the holidays at Nauticus, where the magic of the season came alive! Our team enjoyed a night of holiday cheer, featuring Winterfest on the Wisconsin – where dazzling lights and festive displays lit up the historic battleship – plus delicious food, a signature CROFTON beer from Elation Brewing, amazing maritime exhibits, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus (who were kind enough to pause their North Pole preparations just for us)!

It was a night filled with joy and celebration of all we’ve accomplished together this year. Thank you to everyone who made it so special. We couldn’t ask for a better team with whom to close out 2024!

53rd Annual HRCA Holiday Dinner

The Hampton Roads Coal Association’s Annual Holiday Dinner is always a highlight of the season, and this year’s 53rd celebration did not disappoint! It was a fantastic evening of reconnecting with industry friends and honoring the legacy of our region’s coal industry. Here’s to the hardworking teams and partnerships that keep things moving year-round.

VMA Annual Business Meeting & Holiday Celebration

CROFTON was proud to be an Industry Sponsor at the Virginia Maritime Association’s Annual Business Meeting & Holiday Celebration! This event is always a highlight of the season, bringing together maritime leaders to celebrate the year’s achievements and prepare for what’s ahead. The announcement of the new slate of board and executive committee members showcased the leadership helping to drive our industry forward. A special congratulations to Camille Crofton Cherry as she moves from Treasurer to one of the three Vice President roles. Here’s to a successful year ahead!

The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk’s 2024 Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday Party

CROFTON had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk’s Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday Party this week, where we celebrated the season and welcomed new leadership for 2025. We also celebrated the club’s 2024 charitable giving total of $88,500 to 15 different organizations!

As the outgoing president, Camille Crofton Cherry presided over the event, reflecting on the club’s remarkable year. We are incredibly proud of all Camille accomplished during her presidency, from fostering collaboration to driving new initiatives that strengthened the club and our maritime community.

The club warmly welcomed Terrell Moses of Tidewater Staffing as the incoming president. Cheers to the 2025 board members and another year of camaraderie in the maritime industry!
