Project Description: Crofton Industries replaced submarine fiber optic cable in the Chesapeake Bay from Cove Point to Taylor's Island, Maryland, covering approximately 6 miles. Cable was installed using a jet assisted cable trenching sled. All vessels used robust navigation tools to avoid areas of archaeological interest areas.
