CROFTON Team Completes Third Monthly Values Program

Last week, we wrapped up the last session of our third group to complete the CROFTON Monthly Values Program! Over the course of six half-day sessions, this team explored what it means to live out our core values through leadership development, communication, feedback, and real “Values in Action” experiences.

It’s been awesome to see how this program continues to shape our culture and strengthen our team.

We capped things off with a happy hour at Post Secondary Brewing in Olde Towne Portsmouth. Cheers to carrying these values forward in all we do!

Celebrating Community at Propeller Club Events

At CROFTON, we’re always grateful for the opportunities to connect with our maritime community. This month, our team had a blast at the Propeller Club of Baltimore’s Crab Feast and the Propeller Club of Newport News’ Golf Tournament – two great events filled with excellent company.

We also joined the The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk’s summer networking event last week. (No pictures of this one. We were too busy catching up with friends and enjoying the conversations!)

Smithfield Bridge Project Nears Completion

Our Construction team is making great strides in the second and final phase of the Smithfield Bridge project. In these photos, you’ll see them pouring a concrete bridge deck overlay across three spans – an impressive 140 cubic yards of concrete in total.

As this project nears completion, we’re proud to see the final results take shape and to deliver another structure built to last.

Pier Modifications for General Dynamics

CROFTON is proud to share progress on a significant project for General Dynamics, where we recently completed substantial pier modifications designed to increase their operational capacity.

With the first phase complete, our focus has shifted to the next stage: tower crane assembly and installation. In these photos, you can see our team and equipment hard at work installing the first lower sections for the new tower cranes.
