On Wednesday, June 15th, Crofton recovered a MH-60 Navy helicopter from the James River using the barge mounted crane Manitowoc 4000W Ringer which has a lift capacity of 200 tons and a maximum boom length of 180′. The crash took place on Tuesday morning during a training mission and thankfully there have been no injuries reported. See WAVY 10’s full report here.
