Electric Co-op Valve Replacement

Crofton mobilized equipment and barges from Virginia to Pennsylvania and set up sectional barges with Drott Crane, recompression chamber and dive station. Crews removed trash rack from intake tunnel mouth at 80', removed interior trash rack located 250' inside tunnel, and installed cofferdams over two 24" intake pipes. Once diving was completed, crews removed four 24" gate valves inside dam and replaced with new. After valve replacement took place, cofferdams were removed, trash racks were reinstalled, and site was demobilized.
