Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crofton, Maryland. Our purpose is to build a Christian community which daily touches people for Christ.

We are a church open to everyone. Our shared ministry is built on three pillars, relationships, abilities and passion.

In our relationships, we encourage communication and accountability to one another and God. The verse which best expresses our purpose says, "Beloved, let us love one another because love is from God." ( I John 4:17) With our abilities, we are committed to life-long learning. The Bible reminds us to think, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Our passion to is bring a spirit of reconciliation into people's lives. Many of us have experienced severe problems in our own lives. We think people need to be reconciled to God and each other.
